William M. "Bill" Isaac has an unparalleled career in the financial industry and public service, spanning nearly 50 years. He served as Chairman of the FDIC during the crisis of the 1980s and is today a leading commentator and consultant to financial institutions and governments.
Mr. Isaac is involved extensively in thought leadership relating to the financial services industry. He book, "Senseless Panic: How Washington Failed America", provides an inside account of the banking and S&L crises of the 1980s and compares that period to the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Mr. Isaac’s articles are published in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times, American Banker, Forbes, Financial Times, Washington Times, and other leading publications. He also appears regularly on television and radio, testifies before Congress, and is a frequent speaker before audiences throughout the world.
Geoff Simon is Senior Vice President for Simon and Associates Wealth Management of Raymond James. He provides comprehensive financial planning and investment counseling for individual, corporate and institutional clients. Mr. Simon is also a WEDU staff alumnus.
Geoff received his MBA with honors from the University of South Florida, College of Business Administration. He earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Simon is currently Vice Chairman of the Florida Council on Economic Education, a trustee of the University of South Florida Foundation Board, and past president of the Florida Holocaust Museum board.
